Accessibility

A clearer route.
More ways to get help.

Recovery can involve more than moving a vehicle. Tell us about communication or access needs so we can discuss the practical support that would help.

Your recovery

Explain the need.
Discuss the arrangement.

Communication that works for you.

Tell support if you need a different way to communicate or additional clarity about a booking. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate suitably. Describe the adjustment needed rather than sending unnecessary medical or personal information.

Access and vehicle requirements.

Share relevant access constraints and vehicle requirements when requesting recovery. That helps suitable drivers understand equipment and loading needs. Where a request cannot be met by a particular driver, discuss options before agreeing the booking.

Passenger travel needs a separate agreement.

Vehicle recovery does not automatically include passenger transport. Travel requires a separate agreement with the driver, lawful seating, capacity, insurance and safe arrangements. If a truck cannot lawfully accommodate a passenger or mobility equipment, support can help discuss safe alternatives; accommodation is not guaranteed.

Website & apps

Our accessibility aim.

Quartz aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the public website, customer service and driver app. This is our commitment and design direction, not a claim of independently certified compliance.

Keyboard access

Controls should be operable using a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a logical reading order.

Screen-reader support

Meaningful headings, labels and controls help communicate a page’s structure and the purpose of actions.

Readable content

Plain language, clear errors and text resizing should make important booking information easier to understand.

Sufficient contrast

Text and interactive elements should remain distinguishable from their backgrounds and surrounding content.

Reduced motion

Motion preferences should be respected so decorative movement does not prevent reading or using a service.

Practical alternatives

If a map, checkout screen or support widget causes a barrier, contact us to discuss an alternative where practical.

Tell us where
the barrier is.

Third-party maps, payment screens and support widgets may have limitations outside our direct control. We assess suppliers and provide alternative support where practical.

Email support@quartzrecovery.com or call 0808 502 2241. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within two business days. If it concerns an active recovery, make that clear so the team understands the context.

Useful details for a barrier report

  1. The page or app screen and what you were trying to do.
  2. Your device, browser or app version, and any assistive technology relevant to the issue.
  3. What happened, what you expected and whether the issue repeats.
  4. The practical adjustment or alternative that would help.

Screenshots can help when safe to share. Remove unrelated personal information and do not include passwords or payment-card details.
