Version 1 · Effective 14 July 2026
Driver Code of Conduct
The professional, safety and customer-protection standards for Quartz drivers.
Professional service
- Treat every person respectfully, communicate honest delays and arrive prepared.
- Quote only for work you can safely, lawfully and competently complete.
- Keep trucks, equipment and required documents safe, roadworthy and current.
- Secure vehicles correctly, follow road law and report incidents immediately.
- Protect customer property and use clear before-and-after evidence when prompted.
Customer protection
Never request cash, ask a customer to cancel to avoid the platform, advertise private services during a Quartz job, or use booking details for unrelated marketing. Do not contact a customer after the job except for an authorised service, claim or support reason.
Safety and equality
Never drive impaired, overload a truck, use unlawful equipment, use a handheld phone while driving, threaten or harass anyone, or discriminate because of a protected characteristic or any other irrelevant personal trait. Follow lawful accessibility and safeguarding needs.
Fraud and account integrity
Do not falsify photos, GPS, documents, completion, identity, damage or costs. Accounts are personal. Another person may not use your account or perform a job unless Quartz has verified and lawfully authorised that arrangement.
Fair enforcement
Minor conduct issues may lead to guidance, warning or proportionate temporary restriction. Serious safety threats, violence, fraud, deliberate damage, document falsification or customer-data misuse may lead to immediate protective restriction and expedited human review. We give written reasons where lawful and a route to appeal; outcomes are based on evidence, not an automatic three-strike rule.
