Wallet, Rewards, Referrals, Coupons and Tips Terms
Rules for optional Quartz credits, promotions and driver tips.
Closed-loop wallet
Quartz wallet credit may be used only for eligible Quartz services. Customers cannot buy top-ups, transfer balances, withdraw cash or redeem credit outside Quartz. A card refund remains the default. Refund credit enters the wallet only after the customer actively chooses it and does not expire.
Promotional credit and points
Promotional or referral credit and loyalty points expire 12 months after issue. We send reasonable reminders before expiry where contact permissions allow. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred and may be reversed if obtained through fraud or a cancelled qualifying event.
Referrals and coupons
A campaign’s displayed eligibility, value, redemption limit and dates apply. Referrals must be genuine new users and must not involve spam, self-referral, fake accounts or misleading promotion. Coupons expire on their displayed campaign date. If campaign wording conflicts with these terms, the wording more favourable to the consumer applies unless unlawful.
Tips
Tips are optional and available only after a job. Quartz passes 100% of the tip to the driver without commission. A tip may still be affected by a payment reversal or tax and reporting duties. Drivers must not pressure customers for a tip or ask for cash.
Changes and suspension
Quartz may pause a promotional programme prospectively, but will honour already-earned non-expired rights except where fraud, mistake or law requires correction. Refund wallet credit is not removed because a promotion ends.
